Susan Tait, the woman behind the camera at AlMo Photography.
As Susan says
I’ve always had an interest in photography, but the real passion started when my partner bought me my first DSLR as a Christmas present in 2017. I remember thinking wow this is amazing, but what on earth do all these buttons and dials do… I ended up spending that Christmas day looking at various YouTube channels to find out how to work my camera and that was it, hook, line, and sinker!
I wanted to find out more about how to create art from my photographs. Although a lot of what I have learned has been self-taught I have also spent a lot of time doing various courses and spending time with various photographers to improve and advance my skills. Once I was comfortable with my photography skills I joined a camera club which introduced me to Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, (2 editing tools) that I love to use to enhance my images, meaning if you have a pet who needs to be on a leash, this is no problem as we can edit out details that we don’t want in the final image.
My passion for photography grew quickly and I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to share my enjoyment with others and help capture and create beautiful images. This is when AlMo Photography began.
